How Cater Street, Little Germany appears

Cater Street, in the Little Germany district of Bradford, is one of the series' most useful Yorkshire locations. Netflix's location guide names it for boxing scenes and for the Shelby company's office and boardroom, the more corporate face of the family business in later series. In the story these are in Birmingham. The real street is a short run of stone warehouses and workshops behind Bradford Cathedral, part of a conservation area of Victorian merchants' buildings that productions use regularly for period streets.

The real place

What you can visit

Little Germany is a compact quarter of grand sandstone warehouses built by wool merchants, many of them now offices, studios and flats. Cater Street itself is a quiet working street with an arts centre and small businesses, and the interiors used for filming are private. You can walk the public street and the neighbouring lanes, which are full of period detail. The wider quarter also featured in the 2026 film. There is no visitor centre, so treat it as a short self-guided walk.

These are working buildings. Keep entrances clear and do not go into yards or courtyards without permission.
