Accessibility statement · 30 August 2026
Access should not be an afterthought.
We use WCAG 2.2 AA as the working standard. A representative review of the homepage, search, guide, archive, planner, location, form and error-page templates was completed in August 2026, followed by a site-wide remediation pass.
What should work
Pages use semantic headings, named navigation landmarks, keyboard-operable links and controls, visible focus styles, text alternatives, responsive layouts and skip links. Text and controls have a readable minimum size, touch targets are enlarged, reduced-motion and forced-colour preferences are respected, and content does not rely on colour alone.
Known limitations
Third-party maps, booking pages and venue websites are outside our control. Externally supplied photography descriptions vary in detail, and dense archive pages may still require more navigation than shorter guides. This review is not an independent certification; continuing checks include screen readers, browser zoom and new content templates.
Location accessibility
Website accessibility and physical access are separate. Finished location records should state terrain, steps and access restrictions where reliable information exists, and always link to the venue’s current access information.
