Editorial standards
How a screen claim becomes a travel guide.
These rules apply across every Location Ledger collection.
Verification
Prefer production, venue, landowner and official tourism sources. Reputable secondary sources can fill gaps, but repeated unsourced claims are not treated as confirmation.
What counts
One real destination is one location, even when it plays several fictional places. Studios, private homes and inaccessible land are identified carefully or omitted from visitor routes.
Corrections
Material corrections should be logged, checked and reflected promptly. Small copy edits need not carry a public correction note; changes that alter the substance of a location claim should.
Commercial independence
A booking relationship does not determine whether a location is included or what we say about it. Affiliate links are labelled at the point of use and direct official information remains available.
Responsible visiting
We do not encourage trespass, unsafe viewpoints, interference with worship, disruption to residents or access that conflicts with local guidance.
