How Arley Hall and Gardens appears
Arley Hall is the house fans picture when they think of Arrow House, the mansion Tommy acquires to match his new status. The BBC's series three production notes credit Arley with the exterior and ground-floor rooms, and series three opens there with Tommy's wedding. Arrow House returns through to the final series. The story sets it in the countryside outside Birmingham; the real hall is a Victorian house in rural Cheshire. Its kitchens on screen were filmed at Tatton Park and its upstairs rooms at Croxteth Hall in Liverpool.
The real place
What you can visit
Arley Hall and Gardens is a family-owned estate known above all for its gardens, including a celebrated double herbaceous border. The gardens open seasonally, roughly from spring to autumn, and the Hall's rooms open on selected days only, with a separate upgrade on garden admission. A Peaky Blinders exhibition with dressed rooms ran in the Hall in early 2026 and has now ended, so do not expect set dressing. Check the estate's website for the current season, Hall days and prices before you travel. There is a café on site.
Hall days book up; if seeing the interior matters to you, check the dates first and plan the trip around them.
BBC Media Centre: Peaky Blinders series 3 press pack ↗Arley is in rural Cheshire between Northwich and Knutsford, signposted from the M6 and M56. A car is the practical way to get there, with a car park on site (a parking charge applies). Public transport is limited. Garden paths include gravel and grass; check the estate's access information for routes and the Hall.
