How Sudbury Hall appears
Sudbury Hall provides Pemberley's interiors in the BBC's 1995 adaptation. The National Trust identifies the Library, Saloon and Long Gallery in the sequence where the housekeeper shows Elizabeth around Darcy's home. In the Long Gallery she considers his painted portrait, an important contrast with her earlier impressions of him. The house also appears in later entertainment scenes involving Georgiana's piano playing. Lyme provides the exterior, so the television Pemberley is a combination of two real country houses.
