How Queen’s House appears

The Queen's House in Greenwich stands in for the Royal College of Physicians in Queen Charlotte. Netflix identifies it as the setting for the private meeting at which Dr Monro discusses treating the young king. The real building belongs to Royal Museums Greenwich and offers an art-and-architecture visit rather than a medical-history attraction.

Its white geometric exterior makes an immediate contrast with the larger neighbouring buildings, while the galleries provide reasons to spend time beyond recognising a screen setting. The museum highlights royal portraits, maritime painting, sculpture and the Armada Portrait of Elizabeth I. Let those collections guide the interior visit instead of expecting every gallery to reproduce the filmed meeting.

This is also a convenient way to bring Queen Charlotte into a Greenwich route focused otherwise on Bridgerton's house and street exteriors.

What you can visit

General entry is free, and Royal Museums Greenwich recommends booking a timed ticket online. Its current page says walk-up visits are usually possible, but booking helps secure entry and provides updates. Check the separate closure information because rooms can close for private events or collection care.

Special activities can have their own booking requirements, so distinguish museum entry from an evening event or tour. The official transport information lists Greenwich and Maze Hill stations, Cutty Sark DLR and Greenwich Pier as options. Use the museum's current directions and access guide to choose your approach, particularly if a step-free journey matters.

The adjacent National Maritime Museum provides nearby food facilities.

Book the free museum ticket before making another timed reservation in Greenwich. Download the museum map or use its audio-guide information so the visit has a clear focus beyond the filming credit. If a room is unavailable, explore the collection that is open; a documented screen use does not guarantee that the precise camera position will be accessible on every visitor day.

Plan your visit

Make it part of a workable day.

Pair the Queen's House with the Old Royal Naval College and Ranger's House for three very different screen roles within Greenwich. Keep museum and house admission separate from outdoor walks and allow enough time between bookings to move comfortably. A Greenwich-focused day is more rewarding than adding several central-London interiors with uncertain access simply to increase the number of locations.
